Call for SIDP Recognition Awards and Fellowship in SIDP (FIDP) Nominations

Please consider nominating either a colleague or yourself for an SIDP Recognition Award and Fellowship in SIDP (FIDP), to be given at the SIDP Business Meeting and Reception at IDWeekTM 2024. Each year, the Society recognizes the excellence of its members with the Early Career Investigator Award, Pharmacotherapy Paper of the Year Award, Outstanding Clinician Award, Gita Patel Best Practice Award, and Outstanding Mentor Award. In addition, a Distinguished Service Award may be awarded by the Society to recognize truly outstanding and lasting service (this award is not necessarily given annually). 

This year introduces the inaugural Outstanding Early Career Clinician Award. Additionally, we have updated the FIDP scoring rubric and qualification thresholds. Of note, the “Contributions to SIDP” section has been significantly modified based on member feedback to capture all ways members actively contribute to the Society, including self-driven contributions. Nominations need to be received by Friday, March 1, 2024. Self-nominations are accepted. Supporting materials for each nominee will be due Friday, March 29, 2024 for awards and Friday, April 26, 2024 for FIDP. Winners will be notified no later than Friday, August 2, 2024.
