The pharmacist's scope of practice is broad, and pharmacists can provide a spectrum of services depending on the practice setting. Infectious Diseases Pharmacists are increasingly pursuing novel practice settings to improve patient care. Opportunities such as roles in Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT), Academia, Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs (ASP), and public health can allow practicing pharmacists and students to further expand the profession of pharmacy in the US. This webinar will educate pharmacy professionals on the roles that OPAT, Academic, ASP, and public health professionals play in the United States. Practicing pharmacists in these settings will share the path to their current role, daily activities, and share advice for those seeking similar roles.
