Program Description:
This educational webinar will explore effective strategies for precepting infectious diseases pharmacy trainees, including students, residents, and fellows. Expert faculty will share practical tips to tailor teaching approaches and optimize learner outcomes.
Target Audience:
This activity was planned to meet the educational needs of infectious disease pharmacists precepting any level of pharmacy learner.
Learning Objectives:
- Differentiate between the educational needs of differing levels of pharmacy learners including students, residents (PGY1 and PGY2), and fellows.
- Apply newly learned precepting strategies to an infectious diseases learning experience.
- Describe effective precepting strategies for an infectious diseases learning experience.
- List the most common barrier to implementing a layered learning model and two methods to help overcome that barrier.
