SIDP Representative Appointed to Serve on the Presidential Advisory Council on Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria (PACCARB)

SIDP member and past-president, Elizabeth Dodds Ashley, PharmD, MHS, FCCP, BCPS, has been appointed to serve as a non-voting liaison representative for the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) on the Presidential Advisory Council on Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria (PACCARB). She was sworn in on September 9, 2020 during the PACCARB Virtual Public Meeting to serve for a two-year term. 

PACCARB was established in 2014. It provides advice, information, and recommendations to the Secretary of Health and Human Services regarding programs and policies intended to support and evaluate the implementation of U.S. government activities related to combating antibiotic-resistant bacteria in human and animal health.
