Job Description: Join our team in the UPMC Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases to build and expand tele-stewardship and tele-infectious diseases services through Infectious Disease Connect, Inc (IDC), a UPMC Enterprises portfolio company. We are seeking applicants to join our ASP team of 3 adult ASP pharmacists and 4 ASP physicians to work collaboratively to advocate the appropriate use of antimicrobial agents locally, regionally, and nationally. Pharmacists create guidelines, antimicrobial use pathways, optimize stewardship software services, train and educate local pharmacists, and perform daily prospective audit with feedback for several hospitals. This position will focus on OPAT and tele-stewardship. Can work remotely.
· Post-graduate year 1 [PGY1] in Pharmacy Practice; or equivalent experience
· Post-graduate year 2 [PGY2] in Infectious Diseases; or equivalent experience
· Board Certification (BCIDP) or experience as clinical pharmacy practice in Infectious Diseases with Antimicrobial Stewardship Program responsibilities
- Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (PharmD)
