Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist, Infectious Diseases/Antimicrobial Stewardship

Location: Virginia Commonwealth University Health System, Richmond, VA

Job Description: The VCU Health Antimicrobial Stewardship Program is one of less than 100 programs that has been nationally designated as an Antimicrobial Stewardship Center of Excellence by the Infectious Diseases Society of America. We are seeking applicants to join our ASP team of 3 adult ASP pharmacists and 1 pediatric ASP pharmacist to work collaboratively with the Division of Infectious Diseases to advocate the appropriate use of antimicrobial agents locally, regionally, and nationally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post-graduate year 1 [PGY1] in Pharmacy Practice; or equivalent experience
  • Post-graduate year 2 [PGY2] in Infectious Diseases; or equivalent experience
  • Board Certification (BCIDP) or experience as clinical pharmacy practice in Infectious Diseases with Antimicrobial Stewardship Program responsibilities

Required Qualifications:

  •  Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (PharmD)
