PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency Program

Description: 

The University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy and Prisma Health Richland (formerly Palmetto Health) in Columbia, SC offer an Infectious Diseases PGY2 residency anchored by seven ID-trained pharmacists. The primary practice site is a tertiary care, academic medical center and primary referral center for central South Carolina. The trainee will work closely with the ID medical fellowship at Prisma Health and will have learning opportunities in antimicrobial stewardship (both inpatient & outpatient), infectious diseases consults, HIV, travel medicine/global health, microbiology and more! Clinical/outcomes research will also be a focus. The resident will work closely with the College of Pharmacy as an adjunct Clinical Instructor. Graduates of the program should feel confident to work in a variety of practice areas.
