Infectious Diseases Pharmacology Fellowship

Location: University of Illinois Chicago College of Pharmacy, Chicago, IL

Position Start Date: July 1, 2023

Position Overview:

The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) College of Pharmacy seeks a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Dr. Zackery Bulman's laboratory. The fellow will have opportunities to lead several projects related to the management of resistant bacterial infections and be involved in NIH-funded research. The position will provide advanced training in antimicrobial pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), bacterial resistance, infectious diseases, translational pharmacology, and in vitro dynamic infection models. Additional experience in scientific writing, grantsmanship, experimental design, and teaching will also be available. Fellows will also enjoy opportunities to work collaboratively with other labs and present their work at various national or international meetings.
