SIDP Educational

Grant Program

Purpose

The Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) is committed to our vision of safe and effective antimicrobials for now and the future. Therefore, we offer the opportunity for other non-profit organizations or individuals to apply for funding to support initiatives that align with the mission, vision and core values of SIDP. Applications will be considered for sponsorship of conferences (including sponsorship of SIDP member speakers), initiatives that provide public education, and/or support novel training mechanisms for healthcare professionals.

About SIDP

SIDP is an association of pharmacists and other allied health professionals committed to promoting the appropriate use of antimicrobial agents and supporting practice, teaching, and research in infectious diseases.

Mission and Vision

Mission: ADVANCE infectious diseases pharmacy and LEAD antimicrobial stewardship to OPTIMIZE the care of patients with infections.

Vision: Safe and effective antimicrobials for now and the future.

Funding

Financial support is limited to between $500 and $2,500.

Application Criteria

Submit a proposal (500 words maximum) including the following information:

  1. Describe your project and how it relates to SIDP’s mission, vision and core values

  2. Describe expected project outcomes.

  3. Provide a detailed budget for the requested funds ($500-$2500 maximum)

    Submission and Review of Proposals

    Proposals should be emailed to sectreasurer@sidp.org and will be reviewed by the Board as received.
