The AMR ChallengeThe Antimicrobial Resistance Challenge is a global initiative to fight the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance. Through this initiative organizations can make formal commitments to combat antimicrobial resistance through various activities or areas (tracking and data, infection prevention and control, antibiotic use, environment and sanitation, vaccines/therapeutics/diagnostics). The Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) has committed to the U.S. Government's Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Challenge to promote appropriate antibiotic use:
